Tremor is a sound installation that employs a feather, a fan, and a contact microphone. When the fan is switched on, it blows and causes the feather to flutter. Since the feather is pressed against a contact microphone, it makes a sound when it moves. The sound is emitted from an amplifier in the corner and is not unlike the flapping of wings.
This work is a mediation on how seemingly insignificant things can effect larger movements in society.
